Description

Why buy Erlonat (Erlotinib) for cancer?

Erlonat is a potent tyrosine kinase inhibitor.  It has shown survival benefits in treating metastatic lung cancer. It was found that the overall survival rate is improved by 19% when Erlonat is added to chemotherapy.

Erlonat is an FDA approved anticancer drug.  It is used in treating NSCLC that has failed from at least one chemotherapy regimen.  Erlonat has also been approved to use in combination with gemcitabine in treating pancreatic cancer.

How does Erlonat (Erlotinib) work?

Erlonat contains Erlotinib as an active ingredient. It is a receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor that acts on the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Erlonat works by blocking the protein that signals the abnormal cells from growing and multiplying. This slows down or stops the growth of cancer cells.

How to use Erlonat (Erlotinib)?

Erlonat comes in a tablet form that you need to take by mouth. Take Erlonat once a day in an empty stomach. Usually, it is taken 1 to 2 hours after a meal. When taking this potent drug, take it around the same time each day. Take this medication exactly as directed by your doctor. In case of a missed dose, contact your doctor right away.

Erlonat is available in 100mg and 150 mg. For adults with NSCLC, the recommended dose is 150mg a day. For pancreatic cancer patients, the dose is 100mg a day. The duration of your treatment depends on your condition and your response to the treatment. Continue taking Erlonat until your doctor tells you to stop.
