Treatment for Amebiasis
There is no over-the-counter drug available. Treatments are prescribed by a physician. Your doctor may prescribe Metronidazole (Flagyl) for 10 days. To kill the amoeba in your intestines, your doctor may prescribe Luminal drug and paromomycin.
