Nicholas Green –
At first, I thought what I have is a normal case of dandruff so I just both anti-dandruff shampoo at the grocery. Tried the different brands but it doesn’t solve it so I went to a dermatologist beacause the flakes are becoming embarrasing. I was told that what I have is not the usual dandruff but rather seborrheic dermatitis. So I was prescribed with a special kind of shampoo from the derma’s clinic and man was it expensive. I reluctantly bought a small bottle and tried it when I got home. After a few days, it did decrease the flaking to a tolerable level but I was worried that I’d need to shell out again for another bottle. I noticed on the label that the active ingredient of that shampoo was fluocinonide and I looked for an cheaper shampoo with the same ingredient that I could use as an alternative. I’m glad I found one from this site. This is the cheapest one I’ve seen online and thought of trying it. My order arrived last month and after using it for a couple of weeks, it did the same job as with the shampoo I bought from the clinic, albeit, better. Now I ordered a new batch so I could have a backup just in case the condition gets severe again. I was already warned by my derma that seborrheic dermatitis is expected to reoccur and flare up from time to time.
